What's new in hair coloring?
by Doris Möller

The big story is highlighting. Now, that isn't really new anymore because highlights have been around for a long time. However we have come a long way from "streaking" hair where we put the same white blonde silvery hair in everyone's hair from black to brown to red to mousey blonde.

Highlighting hair has evolved into something quite different. We are now adding dark strands of hair to blond hair or coloring just the bottom part dark. You can add two or three different highlighting tones to blond hair or any colored hair. The sky is the limit. It all depends on how daring you are, the creativity and know how of your hairstylist and of course on good taste.

Here are a few examples of different highlighting/low lighting colors.

Note: All of these hairstyles have been created by very talented North American hair stylists.
