Why do models in magazines and fashion shows always have long hair?

Have you ever noticed that the models modelling haute couture clothes always have long hair? You would think that since they are showing us the latest designer fashion, the newest looks, that their hairstyles should also represent what’s in style.

I think the number one reason is this; the designers are simply not interested in hair fashion and the second reason is that they do not want to distract from the clothes that are being modeled by the models. They only use hair to emphasize or exaggerate their designs.

Unfortuanetly they completely ignore the fact that most women look best in short hair. Take a look at these long to short hairstyles. Most interesting, isn’t it?
