If you were to try to  arrive at this same hair color by coloring your hair with a solid color or by using a two-step method (bleaching and tinting) the results would not look as beautiful nor as natural.

I sometimes get asked to do a hair color like that. But people don’t realize that only certain people are able to get a blonde tone like that, because there is a secret to this blonde look.

The secret is that your hair must have a certain base color – either your natural hair color or your tinted hair – must be  medium blonde to light blonde. The highlighted hair (when lifted to the correct lightness) will then blend with your base color and the result is this beautiful, natural blonde. If your base color is darker than that it won’t blend the same way with the highlighted hair.

Of course what is of equal importance is that your hair is highlighted properly (no gold) and the right amount of hair is highligted. What is very interesting about the hair color in this picture is that it suits this person perfectly because it goes with her color type. Which means it syncronizes with her skin tone and eye color. I believe that being aware of your color type  is very important if you want your hair color to make you look beautiful.
